Wilfrid Laurier University launched the first fully online Master of Computer Science program in Canada on Aug. 21, 2018, which is being offered to Canadian and international students.
The online Master of Computer Science program is designed for active computer science professionals and those with an undergraduate degree in computer science, applied computing, computer engineering, information systems, mathematics or another related field who aspire to reach their full potential. The program sets itself apart by cultivating a high-level of technical knowledge and the practical real-world skill set required by employers worldwide.
The curriculum includes parallel programming, application development, algorithm design, data mining and analysis, cyber-attack and defence, machine learning and technology entrepreneurship. Students will be trained to turn their technical knowledge into practical leadership skills, real-world development to define the future of programming, development and technology entrepreneurship.
The online program will mirror the on-campus degree and will be taught by the same world-class faculty. It combines exceptional education with the convenience of online learning
