
Chinh Hoang received his PhD in Computer Science at McGill University in Montreal. He was a Humboldt fellow from 1989 to 1991 in Bonn, Germany. He holds faculty positions at Rutgers University in New Jersey, and Lakehead University in Ontario. He was visiting professor at Université Paris-Sud (France), Université de Grenoble (France), and Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain). He is currently Professor and Chair of the Department of Physics and Computer Science at Wilfrid Laurier University. He has taught mobile programming since 2010. His teaching effort on mobile programming has been supported by Apple, Telus, and many local companies. The main focus of his research is structured graph theory and algorithms on graphs. His research is supported by NSERC.
